Locals love the feeling of a true community. Windsong Ranch has all the benefits of a city with the inclusion of paradise at The Lagoon, all while being close to multiple other metropolitan areas. The addition of The Commons, an area set atop a hill overlooking the lake, is the perfect place to gather with friends and family. A community center, cafe, resort-style pool complete with cabanas, an outdoor area with a fireplace, tennis courts, an amphitheater, and more make up this gathering area. The community also hosts a variety of events that include everything from fitness classes to music festivals. Windsong Ranch has everything you’re looking for and then some.

There is a great deal of dining and shopping options at the entrance to the community in Windsong Marketplace. The Marketplace has a grocery store and other convenient big-box stores, in addition to a variety of quick dining and shopping options. Another great option close by is the Windsong Ranch Cafe, Snug, which offers a selection of breakfast, lunch, and specialty coffee options.
Not far down the road is The Gates of Prosper, a shopping center with an assortment of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. With stores such as James Avery and Yard Art, you can find a little something for all your needs. They also have a membership gym, Spenga, with a unique set-up of fitness classes promising to give you a 60-minute workout you won’t find anywhere else. Stop for a bite at some of the most delectable restaurants, like Gloria’s Latin Cuisine, Killa Pie — a Detroit-style pizzeria — or Smallcakes.

Things to Do
The community of Windsong Ranch hosts an assortment of fun things to do throughout the year. From events like Barktoberfest — a delightful gathering for families and their pups, complete with chalk artists that will sketch out your furry friend — to the Star-Spangled Splash Bash — a fun day full of poolside games, water slides, music, and of course, fireworks — there is always something going on within the community.
The Windsong Ranch Wine and Music Festival is a favored event held at The Commons that allows you to bring a blanket, some chairs, and your friends (furry included) to enjoy wine samples and great music.
